Tuberculosis is a communicable disease caused by micobacterium tuberculosis. The common way of its transsion is the air. Those who are infected with the bacteria, become ill, if they have immune deficiencies or not immunized against the disease. The disease can occur almost in every organ of the body. However, the most common and most contagious form is the lung tuberculosis.

The major symptoms of the patients are, coughing, losing weight, perspiring, dropping phlegm with or without blood in it. If the cases are diagnosed and treated properly, they can be cured. But, the treatment takes a long time and it has to be done with at least four different types of medicines. If the patients do not follow the treatment protocols appropriatelly, they can develop resistantance against medicines, which is a great public danger. Therefore, the treatment of cases should be done under the supervision of tuberculosis dispanseries.
